Hollywood Carnival, LLC produces special events to celebrate the culture and music of the world. We embrace and encourage diversity in our society by promoting events and fundraisers to increase cultural awareness and unity.

Who is Los Angeles Culture Festival?

Los Angeles Culture Festival is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, organized solely for charitable, educational, cultural, and entertainment purposes.

Are Hollywood Carnival and Los Angeles Culture Festival the same organization?

Los Angeles Culture Festival is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and Hollywood Carnival, LLC is a joint venture. Together, we are proud to present the 7th Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival – a world culture festival – expressing the colors of culture and freedom of the world as one people. This is a celebration of our cultures and traditions, featuring colorful costumes, dances, food, arts & crafts, and music from around the world.

On Saturday, June 29th  2019, see how Hollywood Carnival and Los Angeles Culture Festival will miraculously transform Los Angeles’ Hollywood Boulevard into a Grand Carnival & Street Extravaganza with parade-goers and masqueraders dressed in vibrant, breathtaking costumes dancing to pulsating rhythms of the world.

General Event Information

When are the Hollywood Carnival events?

There are various events leading up to the week of Hollywood Carnival, which begins on Thursday, June 21st and ends on Sunday, June 24th. Please click here for more information about each of the official events.

Where are the events?

Hollywood Carnival events take place at various hotspots in the Greater Los Angeles area.

What are the age restrictions to the events?

The Parade of the Bands produced with Los Angeles Culture Festival is welcome to all ages. All of the other Hollywood Carnival events are strictly 21+. You must bring a valid, government issued ID to each of the event venues to be admitted.

Will I be able to leave an event and come back?

After entry to one of our venues, ins and outs will not be permitted. Your ticket will not be valid after entry.


How do I purchase tickets?

Individual tickets may be purchased from our event calendar listing. Our Festival Pass offers the best deal if you are planning on going to multiple events.

Do I need a ticket for each event?

You may purchase tickets in advance for a discounted price or at the door. You do not need a ticket for the Parade of the Bands, which is free to the general public.

NB: VIP includes entry into ALL events , BUT there is NO VIP Access at the Carnival Village.

What does the VIP Ticket include?

The VIP Ticket gives you front of the line access, a separate and sometimes elevated sectioned off area.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets and Festival Passes are non-refundable.

Mas Bands & Costumes

How do I purchase a costume and register with a Mas Band to participate in the Parade of the Bands?

By purchasing a costume from one of our Mas Bands, you have officially registered with the band and are eligible to participate with them in the Parade of the Bands. For a complete list of participating Bands, please click here.

Can I wear my costume out to the Hollywood Carnival events?

We encourage you to wear your costumes out to the Parade of the Bands & Carnival Cultural Village. For all other events, please note that it is up to the venue’s discretion on dress code and admittance for costumes. Please contact the venue directly with any questions.

Registration Deadlines & Participation Fees

Mas Bands– Mas Band registration has ended. Participation fees are due by Wednesday, May 31st.

For individual registration, please check with the Mas Bands directly, as registration deadlines may vary by each Band. By purchasing a costume with a Mas Band, your individual registration & participation fees will be taken care of.

Cultural Groups- Registration ends on May 15th. Participation fees are due by Wednesday, June 15th.

Vendors- Registration & Participation Fees are due by May 15th.

Volunteers- We are always accepting volunteers! Please register online.
